Signium Africa proudly supports the Gauteng Opera, an all-round performing arts and entertainment company in South Africa, focusing on opera related productions, concerts and events. Agbiz and International Food and Agribusiness Management Association (IFAMA) host the Agbiz/IFAMA Agribusiness Student Case Competition during the Agbiz Congress.

Sixteen top agricultural economics and agribusiness students from major universities across the country are selected to participate in this initiative, endorsed by IFAMA.

The Institute of Directors in Southern Africa is a professional body recognised by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) and a non-profit company that exists to promote corporate governance, and to maintain and enhance the credibility of directorship as a profession.

Signium Africa was proud to contribute to the IoDSA by conducting a part pro bono search for an executive level position in late 2017. This included identifying potential candidates, facilitating the interview process with the IoDSA executive team and conducting competency assessments on behalf of the Institute. www.iodsa.co.za

The BMF espouses a value system which embraces high standards and sets tone and measure in business ethics, not only amongst black organisation, but South African society in general. Through its value system, its disciplines and perseverance towards a just cause, the leadership of the BMF has made a meaningful contribution to the stability of the country and the progress made on socio-economic development. The organisation builds confidence and capacity amongst black managers by providing a support structure that facilitates their integration into a business environment which is often hostile and unsupportive. Talent Africa supported the BMF in 2013 by conducting a full pro bono search for their new Managing Director, advertising three senior vacancies in the Sunday Times and participating in the BMF Annual Conference through a Platinum Sponsorship. www.bmfonline.co.za

Mapungubwe Institute for Strategic Reflection was founded by a group of South Africans with experience in research, academia, policy-making and governance, who saw the need to create a platform of engagement around strategic issues facing South Africa. Their mission is to advance South Africa’s development by addressing the complex challenges that straddle issues of nation-forming, economic growth, social equity, science and technology and positioning in a global world. Talent Africa contributed to the Mapungubwe Institute for Strategic Reflection by conducting a pro bono Director Remuneration Survey in 2012. The nature of the work included gathering information on the remuneration practices for the Boards of other similar institutions and benchmarking the salaries of the Institute’s full-time staff against other similar institutions. www.mistra.org.za

The Oliver and Adelaide Foundation was created to promote and advance the legacy of Oliver and Adelaide Tambo and the values for which they stood. The Foundation addresses issues of integrity and excellence; education and culture; democracy as well as socio-economic upliftment. The Foundation directly concerns itself with the general establishment, advancement, protection and promotion of arts, culture and heritage initiatives.

Signium Africa, previously Talent Africa, was proud to contribute to the Oliver and Adelaide Foundation by conducting a pro bono search in 2012. This included interviewing and negotiating an annual total cost to company package with the preferred candidate on behalf of the Foundation.
